The staff was very flexible. I originally booked for the wrong date through booking.com. I called the Inn directly and explained what happened. They arrange a room for a party of two. I needed the room for that evening. Marina Inn Berkeley is 2.1 miles from UCB. I am very grateful to the staff for helping me out at the last minute and providing us a very tidy and clean bedroom. It was a very pleasant stay. Thank you

Stayed here for a concert and at first from the outside wasn’t sure what to expect. It is a very small operation I think family owned? But long story short rooms were very clean staff is very friendly and I left some shirts in my room and they held it for me for 3 weeks! Very nice experience. Would recommend will stay again when in the area!

Awful! They call themselves an Inn but this is an old paint worn motel, so don't be fooled. The room smelled of mold and a fan was blowing to mask the smell. The shower was great, but the handle was not attached and fell off whenever I used it. Water leaked onto the bathroom floor. The toilet was tiny and that handle looked like it wanted to fall off! The location is not great. Fourth street is 5 blocks away but everything else you might be interested in is some distance and probably at the other end of University Street.

The room was very clean the service was great the woman in the front desk was very polite very helpful. The only thing was it was a little cold I mean there was a wall heater but I mean it was still super cold but. Very clean rooms on areas quiet a little ghetto but manageable not too bad

The Marina Inn is a nice, clean, affordable place to stay. I was in Berkeley for a night and just needed a place to sleep; it was perfect. Although the rooms are “smaller” than the average hotel room, they have everything you need: TV, mini fridge, microwave, desk, plenty of closet space, comfortable bed. The room was clean and cozy, and the front desk staff member was very friendly. I really enjoyed my stay and will stay again if I return to Berkeley.

Was the best price by far for a last minute overnight in Berkeley. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the room was surprisingly up to date and comfortable. Good parking and super close to good food and music venues.

Rooms were clean. Somewhat older decor. Dark. No heating, no air. Had to ask for any forgotten essentials. The price is fair and is placed conveniently. Felt safe

Came to parents weekend at Cal Berkeley. Just needed a place to sleep and this place pleasantly surprised me. Rooms are extremely clean and staff is super helpful and nice! Will definitely stay here again.

Took a chance on this place because everything else was sold out for parents weekend. Very glad I did! I haven’t stayed in a motel since probably the 1970s, so that felt a little weird to me, but it was clean, quiet, comfortable, and felt safe. Very friendly check-in experience. Comfortable bed. The location feels a little forlorn when you pull in, but right off University is a pleasant residential neighborhood, and there are shops and cafes just a few blocks away in either direction. Only 15 minutes on the bus to campus; the bus stop is less than a block away. And the price is definitely right — even free parking! Would stay here again.
